Storms

There he lays as you approach,
Still as stone,
Motionless,
Behaved.

You speak to him,
Sounds of echoes,
Reflection,
Mimics.

Shadows creeping over him,
Sounds of thunder,
Lightning,
Flash.

The wind seeps through,
Howling with speed,
Rattling,
Leaves.

Laying in darkness as he speaks,
Pitch black in the sky,
Black out,
Night.

Fog

As if a blanket of candy floss surrounded us as we ventured through the cold, dark and blurry morning.

The air is crisp with a sweet scent of the meadows. Peaceful and weightless as the mist floats over the fields of hay.

Addiction

Ignored and unloved.
Upon the deepest love,
Feeling lonesome in this place called a nest.
To be one,
We must be connected.
Words become scarce,
Neglected.

Indulging on decadence in silence,
Passing time alone,
But yet there he is.
Staring upon his cold shoulder,
Memories of his silhouette,
Is what I remember.

Dozing off into the late night hours,
Only to find him up and about.
Waking up to laughter and shouting,
The stumbling sounds of disruption,
Disrespectful and insensibility.
Awaken by noise,
Anger lives within me now. 

Is this a dream I live upon?
Is this reality or is this a game?

Silence of Pain

You cannot see me,

But I linger within,

I torment you,

I nourish you.

I am your worst nightmare,

I keep you awake at night,

I make your body burn,

I'm your eternal flame.

I make you irritable,

I make you cry,

I make you angry

as you embrace the pain.

You acknowledge me,

I will never leave,

You try to fight back,

But I succeed.
